Art I With Mrs. Travis

Classroom rules and structure are important in my art classroom because it teaches the students safety, discipline, self-discipline, and self-control. My rules create stability for the students and teacher so that the everyone can learn in a relaxed, fun, and positive environment.  Classroom Rules will be posted at the front of the classroom to illustrate the permanence and importance. Having a visual for students will also help reduce negative personalization in my classroom.

 

The first week of the school year will be designated for introducing and discussing Classroom Rules. We will discuss the classroom rules as a large group and will be using role play to develop their understanding.
